Whistler in November means Cornucopia, the mountain resort’s annual celebration of food and drink.

But it also means multiple fall dining deals.

The off-season is a time when several locals’ favourite spots drop prices to draw diners.

      Here are a few:

      - Araxi Restaurant and Oyster Bar: Celebrating 37 years in Whistler, it’s offering a five-course prix-fixe for $37 Sunday through Thursday until November 21.

      - Il Caminetto: The modern Italian restaurant has a seasonal four-course prix-fixe menu for $35 dollars Sunday through Friday until November 18.

      - Alta Bistro: Three-course local harvest special Sunday to Friday, $39.

      - Nagomi Sushi: Fall special menu for $30, seven days a week.

      - Basalt Wine + Salumeria: Three-course prix-fixe for $27 on Sunday, Monday, and Thursday and for $32 on Friday and Saturday (closed Tuesday and Wednesday).

      - Sushi Village: Four-course menu for $26 and $13 for jugs of Sake Margaritas, Sunday to Thursday.

      - Teppan Village: Three-course meal with New York striploin and teriyaki chicken, $34 Sunday to Thursday.

Before you book or show up at any of these places, be sure to contact the restaurant directly to double-check details. Some haven’t announced end dates, and others might be booked for Cornucopia events.
