There’s one less food truck roaming around the streets of Vancouver.

Le Tigre has sadly broken down, so hungry patrons won’t find this popular food truck parked in downtown Vancouver or South Granville for the next little while.

Fortunately, food-lovers will still be able to enjoy its fan-favourite street foods at its sister location in the city: Torafuku (958 Main Street).

The brick-and-mortar eatery is offering Temporary Parking: Le Tigre Pop-Up Lunch until repairs are completed. Available Tuesday to Friday (11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.), guests will find all the regular menu items usually served on the out-of-service food truck.

Top picks include crack salad (brussel sprouts, cauliflower, broccoli, fried kale, and parm cheese), kickass rice with braised pork belly (poached egg, pickled cabbage, mixed herbs, and more), finger lickin’ chicken (brined crispy chicken, basil, cilantro, and fried shallots), as well as several other drool-worthy lunch combos.

There’s no set date for when Le Tigre can hit the roads again, but we’ll keep you updated when we receive more details. For now, its fans will have to trek down to Chinatown for its highly addictive lunch offerings, or order through Torafuku’s lunch delivery partners.
