It’s been more than three years since the Greasy Spoon Diner kicked-off its supper series, which showcase multicourse fine-dining meals prepared by talented chefs around the world. Proceeds from ticket sales directly benefit those in need in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside (DTES).

Presented by A Better Life Foundation (ABLF)—a charity that aims to increase food security for at-risk individuals living in the DTES—and Save On Meats (43 West Hastings Street), guests will find tasty culinary creations inspired by diner food at each monthly event.

Two upcoming holiday-edition suppers will take place at the legendary eatery next week (December 17 and 18) at 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. The Greasy Spoon Diner’s proprietor Mark Brand will be helming the kitchen alongside superstar female chefs representing its partner organizations.

Chefs Kadieann Tighe (Persephone Snug and ABLF), Vanecea Waterworth (Save On Meats), and Charlottle Langley (ABLF) will be working their magic with Brand, creating a four-course dinner paired with cocktails crafted by award-winning bartenders, craft beer, and wine.

Besides stuffing your faces with the delicious dishes, diners will also get a chance to hear about the progressive work being done to serve those who are less fortunate.

Already in its 46th volume, these tasty meals don’t disappoint. The first date is already sold-out, so we suggest grabbing tickets ($95 per person, plus taxes and fees) before it’s too late.
