If you’re a fan of Kitsilano dining spots AnnaLena and Their There, then you’ll be happy to know the team behind these concepts are gearing up to open another eatery in the same neighbourhood.

Hundy (2042 West 4th Avenue), the latest project by chef Mikey Robbins and business partner Jeff Parr, is a minimalist approach to the classic burgers-and-fries joint.

Located within Their There’s 2,300-square-foot space, it will begin service as soon as its bakery-and-coffee shop counterpart has closed.

Menu items include burgers made with a signature bun, special sauce, and Two Rivers’ shoulder and brisket beef-blend. House-punched double-cooked fries and rotating craft beers will also be available.

"Vancouver needs a new hang out with burgers as the main event,” said Robbins in a press statement. “We want an updated burger concept that starts here at home with potential grow outwards."

Hundy is scheduled to make its debut on Saturday (December 22). Its opening hours are from 6:00 p.m. until late on Fridays and Saturdays, with some pop-up nights during the week.
