Food Network star Guy Fieri pays second visit to popular East Vancouver diner
In the wake of a high-profile celebrity chef and homegrown Hollywood star visiting local food hotspots, another food celebrity has been spotted patronizing an eatery in Vancouver.
U.S. restaurateur and Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives TV series host Guy Fieri paid a visit to East Vancouver's popular comfort-food and brunch joint The Red Wagon at 2296 East Hastings Street, with the show's red convertible Camaro parked in front.

The restaurant's signature pulled pork pancakes had previously garnered Fieri's attention. Along with Save On Meats, Tomahawk Restaurant, and Peaceful Restaurant, Red Wagon Café was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives in 2011 during his Food Network show's first visit to Canada.
In October 2013, Red Wagon owner Brad Miller opened Gallic sibling restaurant Bistro Wagon Rouge at 1869 Powell Street, a blue-collar eatery with a focus on French bistro food.
The Red Wagon Café, which Miller opened in 2010, temporarily closed for one month in 2016 as it underwent renovations.
This latest celebrity sighting comes about one week after hometown star Seth Rogen and celebrity chef David Chang visited Lee's Donuts at Granville Island Public Market. Chang went on to post a video he took at HK BBQ Master in Richmond.
Meanwhile, British star Kate Winslet has paid several visits to Honey Doughnuts in North Vancouver, most recently in December 2018.
