Drink of the Week: Fiery Hot Chocolate

    1 of 1 2 of 1

Winter’s not going away anytime soon, it would appear. This Fiery Hot Chocolate from SIDECUT Modern Steak + Bar at the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler will take the chill away, whether you’ve taken advantage of the cool temps to hit the mountains or you simply froze your tail off walking home from work.

“Bringing heat to the Green Chartreuse and Coconut Tequila with the hot chocolate brings a fiery taste without added spice while the lavender bitters add a unique herbal twist,” says SIDECUT bartender Zak Nettelbeck.

      Fiery Hot Chocolate

      1 oz 1800 Coconut Tequila
      ¾ oz Green Chartreuse
      1 drop lavender bitters
      Hot chocolate
Maison Coté spicy-sweet sugar (Maison Coté is a Vancouver company that makes small-batch gourmet salt, pepper, herb blends, and rubs.)

Rim a latte glass with a handle with sugar. Add first three ingredients. Top with hot chocolate to your liking.
