Photos: Huge Colony bar and entertainment hub opens in downtown Vancouver
The Granville Strip is in the midst of a revival, and a massive new establishment is adding to the rapidly changing scene.
Colony Entertainment District (967 Granville Street) has officially opened its doors, giving Vancouverites a fresh place to hang out, imbibe, catch the latest sports game, or bond over arcade games.
It’s the local chain’s fourth location in the city, which occupies a 15,000-square-foot space—the largest one to date and formerly the home of Caprice Night Club.
Guests will be able to choose from a menu that includes dishes like corn dogs, beer-battered fries, tater tots, wings, baby-back ribs, flatbreads, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and more.
A wide selection of libations is on the beverage menu, which range from cocktails to wines, and from local craft beer to non-alcoholic drinks.
Highlights in the new spot include 15 big-screen TVs, full arcade section, pool, foosball, and shuffle board. A custom-made indoor bocce court is also available for use.
