Local west coast-meets-Mexican restaurant group Tacofino has launched two new food trucks ahead of the summer season.

In addition to its already popular “Blue” and “Pink” mobile eateries, fans will be able to find a new Strange Fellows truck at East Van’s Strange Fellows Brewing (1345 Clark Drive).

The second truck joining Tacofino’s fleet is “Minty”, which will be offering its tasty grub in downtown Vancouver (corner of Alberni and Bute Street) on weekdays.

We want to believe the addition of these restaurant-on-wheels will mean shorter wait times, but it’s anyone’s guess how many more people will be enticed to pay a visit to these new spots—especially during lunch rush.

The Strange Fellows truck will be up and running from Thursday to Saturday (5 to 9 p.m.) and Sunday (1 to 5 p.m.), while the Minty truck will serve up menu items Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
