Vancouver’s Cartems Donuts rolls out new food truck

One of Vancouver’s most popular doughnut joints has launched a new food truck.

Cartems Donuts (various locations) announced its new doughnut-on-wheels earlier this week, which served its first guests at Tsawwassen Mills shopping center.

The bright, red-hued Cartems truck will offer a rotating menu of its fan-favourite flavours, such as vanilla bean, chocolate, glaze, smoked maple walnut, earl grey, salted caramel, and more.

Its doughnuts will be made fresh on the trailer, and we’re guessing that it will be frequenting all the hot spots around town—think farmer’s markets, music events, and cultural celebrations.

It might even park downtown on a Monday morning to fuel all the tired white-collared workers with a fresh doughnut and coffee.

Cartems runs brick-and-mortar shops in Kitsilano, Downtown, and Mount Pleasant.

Some of its most popular flavours will be made fresh on the food truck.
