Brad Miller, owner and chef of the popular Red Wagon diner in East Vancouver, is ready to let go of his French baby.

A sale listing shows that Miller’s Bistro Wagon Rouge, which opened in 2013 at 1869 Powell Street, can go to a new owner for $99,000.

“I’ve wanted to open a French restaurant since day one,” Miller told the Georgia Straight in a 2014 interview.

Trained in French cuisine, Miller worked as executive chef at Au Petit Chavignol and Bistro Pastis before opening his Red Wagon dinner in 2010.

Bistro Wagon Rouge describes itself on its website as a “blue collar” French bistro.

It lists popular offerings like cassoulet, terrine, pâté, duck confit, pork belly, French onion soup, and steak frites.

The 1,300-square-foot establishment has a liquor licence.

Lease on the premises is $2,600 a month, according to the listing by Restaurant Business Broker.
