Momofuku Noodle Bar, founded by U.S. celebrity chef David Chang, will be opening at Westbank’s 59-storey Vancouver House next year.

Located on Granville Street and Pacific Boulevard, the opening of this contemporary Asian eatery will mark the restaurant group’s first foray into Canada’s west coast.

Similar to its sister establishments in New York and Toronto, the Vancouver location will offer a menu featuring signature items like ramen, buns, and soft-serve ice cream.

According to a press release, the culinary team at the soon-to-open Momofuku will incorporate local and seasonal ingredients, and highlight some of the Pacific Northwest’s best products.

Vancouver’s Momofuku Noodle Bar is slated to make its debut in late 2020.

Momofuku Restaurant Group operates more than a dozen dining spots in cities like New York, Toronto, and Sydney.

Besides cooking at his restaurants, Chang is also known for his bestselling cookbook, Momofuku, and Netflix series, “Ugly Delicious”.

He was seen with popular Vancouverite Seth Rogen earlier this year, roaming through cult-favourite food spots like Granville Island’s Lee Donuts and Richmond’s HK BBQ Master.
