Known for its tasty and healthy salad bowls, Field & Social has launched its third brick-and-mortar shop in Vancouver.

Located in Mount Pleasant (18 East 5th Avenue), the nutrient-focused eatery is on a food-filled street, and can count other spots like Tacofino, Pure Bread, the Juice Truck, and Terra Breads as its neighbours.

The 1,600-square-foot eatery is bright and spacious, and can accommodate 16 guests. Interior highlights include wooden tables and stools, white countertops, and custom metalwork.

As for the menu, guests can expect to find fresh salads like the rustic orzo (with roasted chicken breast, kale, romaine, walnuts, bacon, grana padano, and white balsamic dressing), the kale caesar (with smoked chicken thigh, grated parmesan, garlic and herb croutons, toasted cashews, half a ramen egg, and caesar dressing), and the cobb (with roasted chicken breast, crispy bacon, romaine, arugula, tomatoes, red onion, blue cheese, and mustard vinaigrette).

Field & Social is known for its nutritious and delicious salads.

All of its salad dressings are made in house, and other snacks like a hummus cup and fruit cup are also available. Healthy drinks like fresh juice, coffee, and ginger beer are also on the menu.

“When we started scouting for a new location, Mount Pleasant was on the top of our list,” Barbora Samieian, owner and creator of Field & Social, said in a press statement. “It has cultivated a vibrant and tight knit community of businesses and families, a neighbourhood we definitely want to be part of, and immerse ourselves in.”

In celebration of its new opening, Field & Social will donate $1 from each salad on the menu to Mealshare, a non-profit that aims to end youth hunger.
