Since we’re less than a month away from Valentine’s Day (February 14), it makes sense for food and drink establishments to start promotions for the romantic (albeit mostly commercial) celebrations.
One of the more unique V-Day culinary features that landed in our inbox is from plant-based eatery Beetbox (1074 Davie Street).
The laidback spot is partnering with Blue Heron Creamery to offer a Valentine’s wine-and-“cheese” mingler on February 14 at 7:30 p.m.
So, what can you and your honey expect?
A night full of vegan wines, dairy-free cheeses (think mostarda cheddar, aedea blue, fig cumulus, wolf flower, and more), as well as vegan canapés.
Other libations like vegan beer, cocktails, and more wine are also available for purchase. Beetbox’s menu of vegan and vegetarian comfort foods will also be on offer throughout the event.
