I am surprised that Dynasty Seafood Restaurant didn't make the list in the Chinese category. I would have rated it first or second. I am glad to see Pear Tree on the list, it is definitely underrated.

Strange - I've been to Pear Tree twice now and have had awful meals. Not just a little bad either! The chicken sous vide dish is permanently ensconced in my memory for its tepid blandness.

I'm looking for a unique restaurant in Vanc that has a private dining room. Not looking for corporate chain style, but more independent chef-owned type place. I live in Portland, OR and am having trouble finding what I'm looking for on-line. Any suggestions?

We had barely finished our dessert when our $300+ bill arrived at our table and we were asked to leave so that people in the lineup could be seated. We won't be Asking for Luigi again.
