Langley’s Prairie Cottage Perogies has opened a retail-only outpost just off Commercial Drive in Vancouver.

The shop (1704 Charles Street) sells its frozen house-made Ukrainian products, including items like borscht, both cooked and uncooked cabbage rolls, and cottage cheese crepes.

And of course, there are bags and bags of perogies ($6.75 to $7.75 per dozen), with fillings such as sauerkraut and onion; potato, bacon, and onion (which is dairy-free); and cottage cheese and dill.

As Prairie Cottage’s website says, “Smachnoho!” (Happy eating!)
