At the PNE, Tin Lizzy Concessions puts a new twist on mini doughnuts

Those Little Donuts, which are punched out fresh from super-nifty machines right before your eyes, have been a tradition at the PNE since 1976. But if you want to shake things up this year, there’s a new competitor at the fair.

Tin Lizzy Concessions is putting its mini doughnuts on a stick—threading a dozen red-velvet doughnuts on a skewer, that is, and drizzling them with a cream-cheese glaze.

This warm treat costs $6; find the stand on the West Line Food aisle near the Italian Gardens, between Marketplace and the Pacific Coliseum.

Those look awesome. I love fun food, even if it may not be the best thing for you.
