Sandwiches get a Latin twist at Boca

Sandwiches get a Latin twist at Boca, the new grab-and-go shop at 1513 West Broadway, where the westbound B-Line stops at Granville Street.

The bocadillos ($9) are all made with hormone- and antibiotic-free meats from ethically raised animals and include a Colombian-style version with meatloaf, olive tapenade, and spiced tomato mayo. Most are designed to be served warm after a quick panini press.

The side dishes keep with the theme, including a Peruvian potato salad that incorporates an aji amarillo (yellow pepper) vinaigrette, and a kicky quinoa salad with pinto beans, jalapeño-lime dressing, and optional queso fresco ($5 each).
