Rooted Nutrition offers introductory fermentation classes in Vancouver

      If you’re interested in making your own sauerkraut, kimchi, or kombucha, fall is a popular time to get fermenting.

      Rooted Nutrition offers a variety of introductory classes, such as Sauerkraut 101 this Sunday (September 20), which had just a few spots remaining at press time. Chef and holistic nutritionist Andrea Potter teaches fermenting and pickling classes at different locations, including Homesteader’s Emporium (649 East Hastings Street); the DIY store also offers workshops on topics such as mushroom cultivation by other instructors.
