A Kitsilano eatery has been named one of Canada’s Best New Restaurants 2015 by the Air Canada enRoute magazine.

AnnaLena’s (1809 W 1st Avenue) modern Canadian cuisine also won the magazine’s People’s Choice Award, receiving the most popular votes in the Eat & Vote contest.

Chef and owner of AnnaLena, Mike Robbins, said he is grateful to be a part of the amazing restaurant scene in Vancouver and Canada.

“The city has been so supportive of us from day one, and they continue to help us shine. We are very humbled by this honour,” Robbins, who was chosen from 32 submissions, said in a press statement.
