The city's main haunt for French-inspired West Coast cuisine is going to offer guests a taste of modern Asian cuisine for a single night, as part of a featured event in the Visa Infinite Dining Series.

Chef and co-owner at Farang Restaurant in Stockholm and Helsinki Kim Ohman will be visiting his friend Chef Lee Cooper of L’Abattoir to bring a taste of the east to the Gastown eatery.

Featured dishes on the multi-course culinary experience ($155) include Ohman’s caramel pork with green mango salad, Cooper’s baked oysters infused with west coast flavors, and stuffed squid and ling cod in brown butter.

Guests will be able to enjoy this fusion culinary experience in L’Abattoir’s private dining room, paired with tasty cocktails and award-winning wines.

The event takes place this Friday (November 13) at 6:30 p.m, and tickets can be purchased by calling 1-888-711-9399.
