Granville Island’s annual Winterruption Festival takes place this weekend (February 19 to 21), with plenty of food and drink activities involved.

The renowned Lee’s Donuts in the public market will be offering special doughnuts made for the winter festival. Or check out the Granville Island Market Tour, where guests will be taken on a walking tour and introduced to fresh and local gastronomic treats. Tickets are $49 and available online.

The David Suzuki Foundation is hosting a free walking tour, focused on sustainable seafood. It starts at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday (February 20) in Triangle Square.

Celebrate Friday by going to a free wine tasting at Liberty Wine Merchants (1660 Johnston Street) from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Guests must be 19 or over.
