Field + Social opens downtown serving fresh salads

      The downtown Vancouver lunch scene has a new addition, and it won’t make you feel guilty for grabbing a quick bite.

      Field + Social (415 Dunsmuir Street) opened its doors earlier this week, a salad bar that specializes in seasonal eatery using local, sustainable, and fresh ingredients.

      Opened by Vancouver friends, Stephen Collins and Moe Samieian, the new foodie spot is modern and bright with plenty of space to eat in.

      The menu features eight chef inspired salads, created by working closely with Vancouver chef Jacob Deacon-Evans of Farmer’s Apprentice and Wildebeest.

      Guests will also be able to pair their salads with kombucha brewed by Kitsilano’s O5 Tea, fresh lemonade, or a selection of guilt-free snacks.

      Field + Social is open Monday to Saturday, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
