Easter can mean a lot of different things to different people.

But one thing's for sure— it's a time to indulge in chocolates and sweets.

From modern twists on chocolate eggs, to artful touches on the Easter bunny, here are five places to find every kind of Easter treat.

Chez Christophe's 2016 Easter Collection looks divine.

CHEZ CHRISTOPHE CHOCOLATERIE PATISSERIE (4717 Hastings Street, Burnaby)

Chez Christophe's 2016 Easter collection ranges from chocolate egg Mounties, a chick cracking out from its shell, to a delectable bunny, and its signature caved egg within an egg. They almost look too pretty and delicate to eat. Almost.

Faubourg's Easter pastries feature bunny macarons, chocolate eggs, and a lot of yummy.

      FAUBOURG (various locations)

Try limited-edition bunny macarons and tasty Easter-themed pastries topped with chocolate eggs. Our favourite is the Chocolate Paris-Brest, filled with a salted caramel mousse, crunchy chocolate pearls, and topped with a vanilla cream Easter bunny.

Bunny in a racecar, entirely edible.
      Thomas Haas

THOMAS HAAS CHOCOLATES & PATISSERIE (various locations)

Its collection includes delights such as Easter truffle eggs, a chocolate Easter nest filled with chocolate eggs and a mini bunny, a bunny in a race car, and a duck and chocolate flowerpot. These creative creations will sure keep both the young and old entertained (and satisfied).

Beta5 Chocolate's Easter praline eggs come in 3 flavours.
      Beta5 Chocolates

      BETA5 CHOCOLATES (413 Industrial Avenue)

Mouth-watering offerings include praline eggs that come in hazelnut, raspberry almond, and cocoa nibs flavours, and peanut butter quail eggs seasoned with Vancouver Island sea salt. Last but not least, the artistic chocolate bunny, drizzled in white, blonde, milk, and dark chocolate— a true piece of artwork.

Fill up your pastel goodies from Karameller Candy in either a small or large jar.
      Karameller Candy

KARAMELLER CANDY SHOP (30–1020 Mainland Street)

Celebrate with an assortment of pastel-coloured candies. Your choice of filling up either a small or large jar, but we'd go for the latter because these GMO and trans-fat free goodies are bound to disappear quickly at your Easter gathering.
