Known for serving up Mediterranean-inspired breakfast dishes and Liege-style waffles, this popular brunch spot is offering a chance for guests to enjoy dinner at its bistro-styled location.

Café Medina (780 Richards Street) will host a one-night only dinner soirée on June 6 at 7 p.m., which will see six local chefs come together to create a reception-style meal.

Medina’s Deniz Tarakcioglu and Adam Perrier will be joined with chefs Dan Larsen (La Quercia), Alex Ploughman (consulting chef), Joël Watanabe (Bao Bei, Kissa Tanto), Nico Schuermans (Chambar), David Robertson (The Dirty Apron), and Eleanor Chow (Cadeaux Bakery) for the evening.

Guests can expect to indulge in dishes such as crispy pork belly, spot prawn ceviche, southern Indian lamb curry, cheesecake parfait, and much more.

Free-flowing beer, wine, and cocktails will also be served—so prepare a ride home in advance of the gourmet feast.

$10 from the sale of each ticket ($95) will be donated to Mealshare Aid Foundation—a community program that provides meals to vulnerable children and youth in Vancouver.

Café Medina’s owner Robbie Kane expressed in a press statement that the eatery is excited to bring together the talent of local chefs, while simultaneously working to give back to the public.

“Our hope is that this evening event will kick off a series of Medina After Dark events,” Kane said in the news release.

Tickets are limited, and can be purchased online.
