There’s a unique event happening at Maenam (1938 West 4th Avenue) on Wednesday (November 5): a craft-beer-themed movie paired with beer and Thai food.

Craig Noble, who wears two hats as a filmmaker and brewmaster at Postmark Brewing, will present his indie flick CRAFT, along with Glassbender Farmhouse Ale, the beer he made for the film’s release. (Glassbender Brewing is Noble’s passion project; he brews its beers at Postmark.)

Attendees will get a 750-millilitre bottle to go with Thai peanuts and popcorn, and after the film they’ll tuck in to beer snacks like chicken satay, Thai sausage lettuce wraps, and northern-style beef tartare.

Tickets cost $75 per person; for info and tickets, see the Maenam website.
