Chimney Cakes

A traditional Hungarian pastry that’s crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Toppings range from almonds to coconut to cinnamon, and you can choose a filling as well. Our favourite is the cinnamon-and-nutella combo...yum.

Gulasch

Austrian comfort food in the form of beef stew (with potatoes and Hungarian paprika) served in a bread bowl, It's vegan option is just as tasty, made with carrots, potatoes, and a blend of Hungarian and smoky Spanish paprika. 

Schweinshaxe

A Bavarian-style pork hock that’s roasted until it’s crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. This food vendor is easy to spot, because it emits a mouth-watering scent that drifts through the air, and always has a long line-up.

Spanish Churros

A classic sweet treat with flavours like cinnamon and sugar or topped with chocolate, nuts, and sprinkles. If you're visiting the market at night, this is the perfect treat to warm up from the chilly outdoors.

The Vancouver Christmas Markets runs from November 26 to December 31, 2016 (11 a.m. to 9 p.m.); December 24 (closed at 6 p.m.) and December 25 (closed).
