Street Food City to bring over 25 food trucks to Vancouver’s downtown core
Consider your lunch plans set for the last week of January, folks.
As part of the 15th annual Dine Out Vancouver Festival, Street Food City, a pop-up event featuring some of Vancouver's most in-demand food trucks, is returning for its sixth year.
Happening from January 23 to 29, the event will take place along Howe Street, between Georgia and Smithe Streets. This marks a shift from the fete’s usual venue at the Vancouver Art Gallery—presumably because of the construction underway at the museum’s north plaza.
Participating food trucks will rotate throughout the week and additional carts, tables, and seating will be available at 800 Robson Street.
Street Food City will be open for business from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Monday to Friday, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Admission to the event is free.
Each food truck and cart will also be offering special dishes or discounts for the Dine Out Vancouver Festival. A portion of these sales will benefit A Loving Spoonful, a volunteer-driven organization that provides meals to those living with HIV/AIDS in Metro Vancouver.
