The highlight of every Vancouver Craft Beer Week has always been the final two-day fest at the PNE fairgrounds, and this year's celebration of craft beer was no different.

This afternoon, beer drinkers descended upon the fairgrounds from far and wide for the eighth annual fest, which brought more than 100 breweries and 300 beers from across North America to Vancouver.

Visitors also enjoyed tasty eats from local food trucks, and music from B.C.-based musicians, including Alpha Omega, Bocephus King, Railtown Prophets, and Sheldon Knight.

Local breweries serving up four-ounce tasters included Strange Fellows, Brassneck, 33 Acres, Parallel 49, Central City, Four Winds, and more--plus American heavyhitters like Rogue, Deschutes, HUB, Sierra Nevada, Coronado, and Icicle, among others.

The fest continues tomorrow with the same great lineup of breweries and beers.

If you didn't have a chance to check out the action today, be sure to grab tickets for tomorrow's event, which continues at the fairgrounds and begins at 1 p.m.
