Hy’s of Canada, the operator of Gotham Steakhouse & Bar and Hy’s Steakhouse, has released a special cocktail to help B.C. residents affected by the ongoing wildfires.

Dubbed Fire on Ice, the sip is made up of small-batch gin, Aperol, cherry liqueur, honey water, fresh lemon juice, and roasted red pepper simple syrup. (It's giving us slight Master Cleanse “lemonade” vibes, though it's alcoholic which immediately makes it 100 percent better.) It’s described as a “refreshing summer cocktail with a surprising, heated finish”.

The drink will be available at Gotham Steakhouse & Bar (615 Seymour Street) and Hy’s Steakhouse & Cocktail Bar in Vancouver (637 Hornby Street) and Whistler (4308 Main Street) until September. For every Fire on Ice sold, Hy’s will match the price with a donation to the Canadian Red Cross’s wildfire-relief efforts.

To date, an estimated 45,000 British Columbians have been displaced from their homes due to wildfires ravaging the interior. Those interested in aiding the fire relief may make a donation on the Canadian Red Cross website or at any B.C. Liquor Store. You may also text FIRES to 45678 to donate $10 to the Canadian Red Cross.

The YMCA has also opened its B.C. locations to evacuees seeking refuge. Fast-casual Mexican chain Chipotle, meanwhile, will donate 100 percent of its Metro Vancouver locations’ fundraising sales tomorrow (July 26) to the Canadian Red Cross.
