26 restaurants that will participate in Taste of Yaletown 2017
Another season, another food festival—what else is new in Vancouver?
The 13th annual Taste of Yaletown (TOY) will be making its way back to the trendy neighbourhood from October 11 to 27 this year.
Presented by the Yaletown Business Improvement Association (YBIA), this two-week food event will offer three-course set menus (priced at $25, $35, and $45) at dining hotspots around the area.
This year’s event will feature 26 Yaletown restaurants, and chefs will be preparing tasty dishes that will revolve around a “pairings and sharings” theme.
Those who love a good bite can check out returning favourites like Brix and Mortar and WildTale Coastal Grill, as well as new eateries including Fayuca and Banter Room.
“As a longstanding community event, Taste of Yaletown continues to bring people together by experiencing exquisite culinary options,” said Annette O’Shea, executive director of the YBIA, in a press statement. “The sharing and pairing menu was a huge success last year as it perfectly connects people together to enjoy a meal together, and showcases our local chefs’ talents. We’re excited to have the community come out and try Vancouver best restaurants.”
The annual culinary festival is also committed to giving back to the community, and will be making a donation to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. TOY has raised over $115,000 in support of the Vancouver community since its inception in 2004.
