Lindt chocolate company set to open new store and café in downtown Vancouver next week
Swiss chocolate giant Lindt & Sprüngli (widely known as Lindt) is bringing its tasty confections to the heart of downtown Vancouver.
Die-hard fans of this global chocolate manufacturer will be excited to know that its newest retail store in the city is located inside the Vancouver Exchange Tower (455 Howe Street), which will open to the public next Tuesday (November 7) at 8 a.m.
Known for its chocolate truffles and chocolate bars, this Lindt location will feature an assortment of the largest selection of Lindor Truffles—characterized by a hard exterior chocolate shell and a smooth melt-in-your-mouth chocolate filling.
Some of its flavours include the classic milk chocolate truffle, dark chocolate, hazelnut, white chocolate, strawberries and cream, sea salt and caramel, stracciatella, and peppermint, among others.
A unique feature at this location is the chocolate drinks bar, which will serve up hot and cold Lindt chocolate beverages. Guests will be able to indulge in drinks such as Lindt hot chocolate (made with smooth melted Lindt chocolate) and Lindt chocolate mocha (Lindt chocolate with a shot of espresso).
This is Lindt’s 10th Canadian brick-and-mortar shop that will boast a café.
Its premium chocolate bars and other products exclusive to Lindt chocolate shops will also be available, which can be gift-wrapped (just in time for the holidays).
Lindt will be celebrating its newest Vancouver opening with a special offer: for the first six days, the first 100 customers who spend $25 or more will receive one pound of Lindor Truffles for free.
We don’t know about you, but it will take us plenty of self-control to avoid visiting this sweets shop every chance we get.
