Move over, Baileys. As you celebrate Canada Day today, through the weekend, and beyond, check out Original Cabot Trail Maple Cream Liqueur.

Made in Cowansville, south-central Quebec by Ungava Spirits Co. and relatively new to BC, it consists of all-natural ingredients including pure maple syrup, cream, rum, and caramel.

Pour it over ice or vanilla ice cream (when it’s not pouring rain) or add it to iced coffee. When you need to warm up (say, during “summer” in Vancouver) pour some into a cup of hot coffee or hot chocolate, maybe topped with whipped cream.

Find it at BC Liquor Stores for $27.99 (750 mL).

      Happy Canada Day!
