With the Hot Chocolate Festival about to begin and Valentine’s Day on the horizon, it’s as good a time as ever to drop by your favourite artisanal chocolatier.

For some, it’s Koko Monk Chocolates, which displays its fabulously artistic works at its outlets at 2883 West Broadway and 1849 West 1st Avenue.

There is always a dazzling display on hand, as well as imaginative names to go with each treat. For example, First Kiss is a vegan fresh sour cherry– and raspberry-infused flavour bomb. The Brunette Bangle features vegan curry and coconut. And for those who like their chocolate raw and bitter, there’s the Dominican and Madagascar Trinitario, featuring sundried mango.
