If you want to eat and shop local while supporting local businesses during the pandemic, here’s a delectable way to do so.
Thanks to the popularity of its previous food-focussed event, Got Craft announced today (October 13) that it will hold another Foodie Pop-Up Virtual Market from October 22 to 25.
This time around, there’ll be 30 local chefs and bakers offering small-batch food and beverages, with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients and will include vegan, low-sugar, and gluten-free options.
Among the selections will be cookies from BAK’D, mochi buns from Baker & Table Café, vegan Mexican food from Lita’s Mexican Foods, kombucha from Oddity Kombucha, sourdough bread from Tall Shadow Breads, popped lotus seed snacks from Sacred Foods, and coffee beans from Potter and Crow Craft Coffee Roasters.
Also in the mix will be Coconama, East Van Jam, JusTea, Living Lotus Foods, Shorba Bone Broth, and more.
Got Craft will also be highlighting seven micro-businesses in their IGTV Virtual Market series on Instagram, which will include ‘How to shape homemade bread’ by Tall Shadow Breads, ‘What is Bean to Bar Chocolate?’ by Living Lotus Foods, and ‘A tour of a beehive’ by EastVan Bees.
Shoppers can make their orders online and packages can be delievered for a flat fee or free curbside pickup. A full list of vendors is available at the Got Craft website.
