After a decade as one of Fairview’s most-loved destinations, Beaucoup Bakery is set to move downtown.

Fans of the Paris-inspired spot can breathe easy—Beaucoup will continue to operate on Fir Street.

This fall, the brother-and-sister team of Betty and Jacky Hung will set up a second location at the St. Regis Hotel at Seymour and Dunsmuir.

Those looking for a true taste of France won’t have to stop at the pastries and savoury pies—the downtown locale will have both indoor seating and a patio area.

“We’ve been searching for the right location for a while now, and cannot wait to bring Beaucoup Bakery to the heart of downtown Vancouver,” Beaucoup co-owner and pastry chef Betty Hung said. “The St. Regis Hotel has so much character and history behind it. The team has been incredible to work with, and we look forward to opening our doors this autumn.”

St. Regis general manager Jeremy Roncoroni added: “We’re thrilled that Beaucoup Bakery & Café will be bringing their exceptional French-inspired pastries and coffee culture to our corner of downtown."

To help bring Beaucoup Bakery at the St. Regis to life, the Hungs are working with Ste. Marie Studio to create a European-style space.
