A number of good-hearted Vancouver chefs will bring their culinary skills to the fore at a fundraising event this month in support of the Vancouver Food and Beverage Community Relief Fund, which aims to help hospitality workers who are in critical need of short-term financial assistance due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Travel With Your Palate, a multi-course collaboration dinner, will be held on October 27 at Botanist.

Participating chefs including Botanist's Hector Laguna, Phil Scarfone of Savio Volpe, Popina co-owner Hamid Salimian, Scott Jaeger of the former Pear Tree Restaurant, and pastry chef Wayne Kozinko of Aritzia.

"The menu represents the abundant botany of British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest," reads the event information, "where ingredients sourced from their natural landscape are coupled with contemporary techniques; designed to showcase the best version of themselves. The menu highlights regionally inspired produce rooted from the soil of the northwest, sustainably sourced seafood from our oceans, and organic agricultural methods from backyard farmers and suppliers."

Tickets for Travel With Your Palate are $148 per person and you can find them here.
