If you’re looking to get your hands on some free grub, listen up.

Vancouver’s latest fast food and bar concept restaurant MONZO (yes, all caps) is set to open this weekend—and to celebrate, it has big plans to give out 100 free cheeseburgers to its first 100 customers.

Located on the ground floor of everyone’s favourite big twisty boi the Vancouver House, MONZO aims to pull its aesthetic from Milan’s Paninari cultural movement by putting an emphasis on fashionable interiors, quality Canadian beef, and a modern vibe.

That Italian influence is also evident in the burger spot's name itself, with MONZO being a play on manzo: the Italian word for beef.

The 88-seat eatery is part of Kitchen Table Restaurants, which also gives us tasty favourites such as Ask For Luigi, Carlino, Di Beppe, Bacaro, and Pizzeria Farina.

The official opening day and time is September 9 at 11am—though we suspect that anyone hoping to secure one of those free burgers will need to get in line a tad earlier than that.
