Strange Fellows released a new non-alcoholic hazy IPA

East Van’s Strange Fellows Brewing has what is arguably the best non-alcoholic beer on the market.

The beauty of Nevertheless Non-Alcoholic Pale Ale is that, unlike so many of the other options out there, it actually tastes like beer. It has character and complexity and body! For someone like me, who is trying to drink less but who really likes the taste of alcohol, it’s the perfect guilt-free beverage. And now, on this blessed day, the brewery has released a second option.

The Nevertheless Non-Alcoholic I.P.A. launches today (February 2), boasting all the fun of a hazy IPA with none of the booze (0.5 per cent ABV, to be exact). According to the brewery, the juicy brew has aromas of stone fruit, pine, and pineapple, and will pair well with spicy curries and burgers.

It’s available now at the brewery’s Clark Drive tasting room, both on tap and in cans. It’s also available in cans at The Drive Canteen, with more stores to follow next week.

I have yet to try it, because, well, it literally just launched today. But if it’s anywhere as good as the pale ale, we’re all in for a treat.
