With summer just on the horizon it’s not like you need another reason to embrace patio season, especially since it’s taken so long to get here in 2022. Hopefully, it's here to stay. Please, God, Bhagavan, Khu, and Unkulunkulu, don’t let the next 30 days be a classic West Coast Juneuary.

There’s a reason for that non-denominational pleading. First, outdoor patio seating areas have opened for the season at the various breweries of East Vancouver. And second, the various breweries of Yeast Vancouver are about to celebrate Strathcona Brewery Week from June 6 to 12.

Breweries participating in the celebration include Luppolo, Container, Superflux, Hastings Mill, Settlement, and of course Strathcona.

In the event that you need a reason beyond, you know, beer, to get out of the house, Strathcona Brewery Week will also feature a brewery trivia game where winners will receive one of 20 $20 gift cards redeemable at participating breweries. Simply scan the QR code at the first place you hit, and then get ready to show your superior knowledge.
