BC’s country music lovers won’t have to wait for the Calgary Stampede to get their cowboy cosplay fix next year. Vancouver is going to transform into the wild west for one weekend come April 2024 when the inaugural Coast City Country festival takes over BC Place.

The festival, taking place April 19 and 20, has just announced its stacked lineup—and country fiends will be strapping on their cowboy boots in anticipation.

Multi-CMA Award winner Luke Bryan is headlining, alongside fellow American crooner Dierks Bentley and BC’s own love-to-hate, secretly-love-to-love Nickelback. Also included over the two-day extravaganza is Bailey Zimmerman, Walker Hayes, Elle King, and Alli Walker, among others.

There will also be late-night afterparties at the Commodore from April 18 to 20, featuring performances from the likes of Travis Denning and The War and Treaty.

In addition to the music, fans can expect street parties, an outdoor barbeque smokehouse, and curated beer and whisky. And while details aren’t available, a portion of ticket sales will reportedly go to charities that support BC wildfire relief efforts. Tickets go on sale this Friday (December 8) starting at the impressively accessible $99.
