Tonight, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expected to be interviewed on British television to discuss their upcoming wedding in the spring of 2018.

This came after Clarence House, the official residence of Prince Charles, announced that the couple are now engaged.

In a statement, Markle's parents said they were "incredibly happy" for the couple.

"Our daughter has always been a kind and loving person," Thomas Markle and Doria Ragland said. "To see her union with Harry, who shares the same qualities, is a source of great joy for us as parents."

Markle is a 36-year-old American actor who was born in Los Angeles. She plays Rachel Zane on the U.S. show Suits.

Her father is an Emmy-award winning lighting director and her mom is a psychotherapist and yoga instructor.

Harry is 33. They will live at Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace.

Markle was previously married to actor and producer Trevor Engelson. They divorced in 2013.
