Pop-up bar crafted from Lego bricks expected to open in downtown Vancouver this summer

You’ve heard of board-game and sports bars, but what about Lego bars? The playful concept—a drinking hole literally crafted from over a million Lego bricks—is expected to come to life this summer when Legobar opens its doors in Vancouver.

Organized by the same folks behind the city’s soon-to-arrive hot-tub movie nights, the pop-up bar will run for a select number of days this June, when locals will be invited to pull up a chair, grab a drink, and begin sculpting their own creations using the Legos on hand. A DJ will also be onsite throughout the pop-up’s duration, so you can build castles, cars, and whatever else your heart desires to some sick beats.

A number of completed sculptures will also be on display for those who prefer to sit back and do some ’gramming instead. The pop-up is 19-plus. Ticket prices and exact dates and location are yet to be determined. You can sign up to be notified of pre-release tickets online.
