An extremely generous Vancouverite is offering residents the chance to score $100 with no strings attached—all you have to do is follow the anonymous citizen’s Instagram account, HiddenCash604, and decipher the visual clues that he will (hopefully) begin posting soon.

Previously known as HiddenCashYVR on Twitter, the account is run by a “successful Vancouver business man” who, from 2014 to 2017, would occasionally hide envelopes of $100 bills around Vancouver, tweeting out hints to their locations for residents to find. The unnamed benefactor stopped posting on Canada Day last year, but re-emerged on social media this morning (April 27) where he stated his intent to resume the cash-giveaway game.

“When I started this four years ago, I said I’d be around as long as there’s interest,” he later tweeted, “so you tell me....If enough of you show up, so will the envelopes.”

At the time of writing, the new HiddenCash604 Instagram has collected over 450 followers. The HiddenCashYVR Twitter account, which was created in May 2014 in response to a similar initiative called Hidden Cash launched in San Francisco that same year, has more than 28,000 followers.

During HiddenCashYVR’s run, lucky Vancouverites nabbed cash in areas such as Granville Island, Kitsilano Beach, and Stanley Park. “I can afford it. It makes a big difference to people. It is a lot fun. It is exciting,” the kind Samaritan behind the account told Global News in 2014. “I will keep doing it for the foreseeable future when I am in town and when I am able to.”

If you’re still reading this and have yet to hit the follow button on HiddenCash604, what’re you waiting for? Give the man some followers so we can all have our fair chance at scoring some hundred dollar bills, stat.
