One of the world's most famous movie stars has an estranged daughter who says she's homeless.

Etta Ng was born in 1999 following an affair between Hong Kong-based action star Jackie Chan and Elaine Ng, who was once Miss Asia. The girl was raised by her mother.

Etta Ng recently posted a video on YouTube with her 30-year-old girlfriend, Andi Autumn, declaring that both "have been homeless for a month due to homophobic parents".

"We pretty much slept under a bridge and other things, you know," she claims.

The pair is believed to be somewhere in Canada.

Watch the video of Etta Ng and Andi Autumn describing what it's like to be homeless.

Autumn says in the video that she's asked friends and family for help, but they're invariably sent in the direction of shelters.

She then says that the couple will be split up if they go to a government facility.

In the video, Autumn doesn't explain why, but commenters on YouTube have suggested it's because she would be placed in an adult shelter and Etta Ng would be sent to a facility for youth.

Etta Ng then says she doesn't understand what's going on because the pair has gone to the police, a hospital, food banks, the LGBTQ community, and shelters.

"All of them just don't give a shit," Etta Ng claims. "So that's why we're making this video. We don't know what to do at this point."

In the video, they also express their continued love for one another despite their financial predicament.

"We just want to let people know because at this point it seems ridiculous that no one can help," Etta Ng says. "I don't understand."
