Chanel Beauty opens month-long, beach-inspired pop-up in Vancouver

In case this past weekend’s high temps weren’t enough, Chanel Beauty is bringing a taste of hot, hot summer to Vancouver with a beach-inspired pop-up at Holt Renfrew (737 Dunsmuir Street).

Launched in conjunction with the release of Chanel’s new Les Beiges collection—an update to the brand’s 2013 line of the same name formulated to create the perfect no-makeup makeup look—the temporary boutique takes aesthetic cues from Deauville, a seaside resort situated on France’s northern coast where Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel opened her first fashion-focused store in 1913.

The pop-up—dubbed Les Beiges à la Plage or The Beiges at the Beach—is located on Holt’s skybridge and stocks the full Les Beiges line, which includes a tinted moisturizer, multi-colour powder, and eyeshadow palette available in a range of “nude” hues, as well as products from Chanel’s core collection.

Shoppers can also kick back in Chanel-branded cabins, send “holiday greetings” via a complimentary postcard service, and get their nails did at a free nail-lacquer bar. Makeup artists will also be onsite offering complimentary application services.

Check out the images below for a peek at the pop-up before you visit IRL.
