From June 23 until January 11, 2019, Lipont Place hosts a major international exhibition of artifacts related to Titanic, the world's largest ship, which sank on April 15, 1912, after colliding with an iceberg.
Featuring more than 120 authentic artifacts and extensive room re-creations, Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition has already visited cities such as Paris, Las Vegas, Dublin, Stockholm, London, Cape Town, Guangzhou, Orlando, Melbourne, and others.
“At Lipont Place, Titanic will find a natural home allowing both our venue and the Exhibition to make its debut to Metro Vancouver,” says Toni McAfee, executive director of Lipont Centre. “We look forward to welcoming all visitors, local and international, to our magnificent space and this world-class exhibition.”
