Metro Vancouver’s Pride festivities are extending to the North Shore tonight (July 31) with a free all-ages dance party at Shipbuilder’s Square.

Organized by the Vancouver Pride Society in partnership with the City of North Vancouver, the event will feature local queer DJs, drag performances, and craft and activity stations.

It takes place from 5 to 10 p.m. in the area outside Lower Lonsdale’s Tap & Barrel (8 Lonsdale Avenue), which is steps away from the SeaBus terminal and bus loop at Lonsdale Quay.

This is the second year that the North Shore will be hosting its own public Pride party. The inclusive fete was planned with input from an LGBTQIA2S+ youth advisory committee. For event details, click here.
