Vancouver's Brunette the Label collabs with California winery for Pinot Noir Day

There’s National Donut Day and International Axe-Throwing Day, so it’s only natural that Pinot Noir Day is a thing, right?

And while cracking open a bottle of the red stuff is the obvious way to cheers the occasion—which is this Saturday (August 18), by the way—Vancouver-based womenswear line Brunette the Label is commemorating the date with wine you can wear.

In collaboration with California winery Meiomi, the retailer is releasing a cheeky, limited-edition “Pinot Please” crewneck that’s drenched in a burgundy hue. Considering that Meiomi is headed by a woman winemaker, the partnership is business-as-usual for the female-founded Brunette, which is known to support other women-led brands. (The label frequently hosts pop-ups by other local entrepreneurs at its Chinatown flagship.)

The Pinot Please crewneck retails for $79 and will hit Brunette’s brick-and-mortar (231 Union Street) and online shops on Saturday (August 18). It will also be available at Nordstrom (7699 Robson Street). Now, excuse us as we wait to see what the brand has in store for International Merlot Day and International Champagne Day…
