Online marketplace and undisputed DIY destination Etsy is hosting its largest pop-up market yet in Vancouver on Saturday (September 29).

Taking place at Robson Square (800 Robson Street), the one-day event is dubbed Etsy: Made in Canada and will feature locally designed and crafted goods from nearly 100 vendors. Available products include new and vintage items for the home, vanity, and closet, such as beaded wrap bracelets by Bluefish Bohemian, soothing salt soaks by Kismet Essentials, and cat-lady pins and greeting cards by Cat is My People.

There will also be a selection of edible goods, like East Van Bees’ raw honey and handmade sweets, shrubs, condiments, and other foodstuffs.

Vancouver’s Etsy: Made in Canada pop-up will happen simultaneously with 36 others around Canada, including ones in Edmonton, St. John’s, and Ottawa. In B.C., Etsy is hosting pop-ups in Kelowna, Nanaimo, Victoria, and Saanich, too. Admission is free.

Lanched in 2014, Etsy: Made in Canada is billed as the country’s largest national pop-up shop. It was founded with the goal of celebrating, strengthening, and supporting the growing artisan community across Canada. Last year’s edition attracted an estimated 100,000 attendees.

“The success and growth of Etsy: Made in Canada over the past five years is a testament to the incredible community of makers here in Canada,” Erin Green, managing director of Etsy Canada, said in a press statement. “Our mission at Etsy has always been to connect buyers and sellers, fostering the values that make Etsy so unique as a platform.”

Etsy: Made in Canada takes place at Robson Square on Saturday (September 29), from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
