Another federal party leader is going to get hitched.

The Green Party's Elizabeth May is engaged to John Kidder, the brother of deceased Canadian actor Margot Kidder.

He was the B.C. Green candidate in Fraser-Nicola in the 2013 provincial election, coming third behind the winner, B.C. Liberal Jackie Tegart, and the former NDP MLA, Harry Lali.

Kidder lives in Ashcroft and he and May will get married in Victoria.

May is the MP for Saanich–Gulf Islands.

In February, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh married fashion designer Gurkiran Kaur Singh.
